A quirky, crazy offshoot of H2SO4 written between "Machine Turned Blues" and "Glamtronica". The concept was an album written and produced inside 24 hours based around "On The Road" by Jack Kerouac.It features fantastic live performances combined with technology throughout-and has the edgy sound of a band really pushing its boundaries. Entitled "REIGATE PLUS.5", the band have agreed to place some tracks free on our player, including " All I Need from You" which was used in HBO show "DIRT"

In 2006-7, Les Mans re-convened to write a second, more measured album. Called "MISTER MEN, it follows a man's fall from grace and power to the point where he becomes a 'happy tramp'.
Cupples explains:
" This album is heftily indebted to John Steinbeck and specifically "Tortilla Flats" which mixes comedy and tragedy in equal measure. His characters have the intelligence and freedom to make something of themselves but they choose not to. They place themselves outside of the mainstream and form a community of outsiders with their own 'chivalric' code of honour. Our album starts with 'Mr Happy' and his bottle of Brandy, then explains his demise , concluding with a a moment of grace at the end. Sounds like a Saul Bellow book doesn't it...?"
Les Mans have allowed us to place some tracks from "Mister Men" on the player.( in H2SO4 player)
Is it true that Les Mans also wrote a musical ?
Yes and I have the only copy. It was written after "REIGATE PLUS.5" It was voted into top 50 musical scores in WORLD MUSICAL COMPETITION at Cardiff Opera House in 2003-4. It is called "JEALOUSY". It was never put into production , but we were in talks with the Arts Council of Britain for a while. I had actually forgotten about that album.. "
In 2009 Les Mans have started live sessions for a new album and there are 5 new tracks in the pipe..
