Lobster. They hung out in the studio next to H2SO4 at S16. While the electro hardcore boys were arguing or weeks over hihat patterns or whether toplace the sample of a water drop under a kick drum, those Lobster boys were laying down a track a day of fresh-as-a daisy material. It remains so to this day. No wonder they had major record companies and management swarming all over them. Their blend of hicky hip-hop grunge was gold dust. They were signing a record deal at mca-universal on the strength of a 4 track ep within a month.
That's good old-school rock and roll mythology and its all true- and when you listen to these tracks you'll understand why:
